Hey Super Mum, Super Dad & Super Kidpreneur! 

First up, from my heart to yours, THANK YOU for being here and visting this page today to consider if our Kidz Biz Club is a good fit for your cherub!

I remember when I was at school I felt like the black sheep. I just didn't fit in. I wasn't one of the cool kids. I wasn't one of the nerdy kids. I wasn't one of the sporty kids and I wasn't one of the naughty kids. I was an achiever who had a desire to take what I learned and always asked lots of questions and what else can I do with this (much to the frustration of my teachers LOL). 

I found my place in 3 areas...

1. Girl Guides - I was a Girl Guide and loved being able to learn new things, connect with other adventurers and I loved our promise to Be our Best and Help other People. I went on to achieve the Baden Powell Award, the peak achievement in the guiding movement and eventually becaue a Girl Guide Leader mentoring other young women to be the best versions of themselves. 

2. Cut Price Deli - At the age of 14 years and 9 months, the legal age to start working at the time, I started my first parat time job at Cut Price Deli and Oh-Em-Gee I loved it!! I loved learning, helping people, customer service and finally felt like I fit in, I was respected, appreciated and loved to learn and earn!

3. Basket Ball Coach - At just 13 years of age I coached my brothers under 10 basketball team of misfit rookies right through to win the premiership. In this year I discovered my passion and super power was coaching kids and inspiring them to bring out the best versions of themselves. 

As a Single Mum with 2 cherubs of my own, this past 2 years has certainly been a challenge. We are now in an entire new world and the biggest lesson we have all learned is that there is no such thing as certainty! There is no such thing as a secure job. 

I have now been in business as a self employed entrepreneur for over 25 years and have over 20 years experience as a coach, although as I shared above, my coaching journey really started at the age of 10 in Girl Guides and then 13 coaching my brothers basketball team. 

Whilst I have a Bachelor of Business, most of my business skills have come from experience learning from the school of hard knocks.

Sadly I feel that our education system is failing our future generation. There are so many essential life and business skills that just aren't being taught. I have caught myself for for years repeatedly saying "If only I learned this stuff when I was at school!" 

 One of my mentors once said to me... "Become the leader you are looking for!" and that is exactly what I am doing right now. 

I have searched high and low around the globe for this kind of program for my own kids and it didn't exist. So I taught these skills to my own kids. 

My daughter Leo is 14 and has been running her PupparArtzy Dog Walking, Training & Sitting business now for almost 3 years. 

My son Zac is 11 and he is sooooooo entrepreneurial! He already has multiple streams of income and instead of asking me for money to buy things he wants, he will say to me "Mum, how can I make an extra $50 this week so I can have..."

I am so proud that my kiddos are learning how to make money so they can have financial freedom and never  have to worry about money.
